Brand boss Paul Keuter is also leaving Hertha. A comment from BILD sports director Matthias Brügelmann.
The Bundesliga manager Paul Keuter (47) will be missing from the Bundesliga. Because he always did everything right? no But unfortunately far too few in the management floors of the clubs have the courage to question things and to endure headwinds.
Wanting to get rid of Frank Zander’s walk-in music was naive. The kneeling gesture of the players as a sign against racism was supposed to serve a good cause and seemed staged.
For this he had to endure completely disproportionate threats as an enemy of many Ultras.
Nevertheless, Keuter always sought dialogue and was willing to learn from mistakes. In addition, he never saw Hertha just as a football team, but took social responsibility into account with many initiatives. Exemplary!
“We’re just not going home,” says the Zander classic, which he briefly replaced with Seeed. It’s a shame that Keuter is going home now. Hopefully it’s not a Bundesliga farewell forever.
