PSV has almost received the sixth reinforcement for the new season. The Eindhoven team takes over Guus Til from Spartak Moscow.
The intention is that Til will sign a four-year contract with PSV. The midfielder is taken over from the Russian club for just under 4 million euros (with bonuses). The agreement between the clubs and player is complete.
In the Netherlands and at the umbrella football associations, it is still being examined whether the transition can be registered without any problems, because trade sanctions apply against Russia due to the war in Ukraine. According to lawyers in Russia, the construction is allowed.
Til was hired by Feyenoord from Spartak Moscow last season and should now return to Russia. Due to the war in Ukraine, players in the Russian league are allowed to suspend their contract for one year.
PSV strengthened itself earlier this transfer period with goalkeepers Walter Benítez and Boy Waterman, with defender Ki-Jana Hoever and with attackers Xavi Simons and Luuk de Jong.
Where Til is met, Ritsu Doan leaves for SC Freiburg for 8.5 million euros. PSV and the German club have an agreement in outline, but it remains to be seen how quickly Doan will be completed with last season’s number 6 in the Bundesliga.
