De Brabander has again voted en masse for the song ‘Brabant’ by Guus Meeuwis this year. This is again the number 1 of the Top 900, the annual list of Omroep Brabant radio with the most beautiful songs ever made.
It has never been different since the start of the Top 900 in 2006: Guus Meeuwis tops the list with our unofficial national anthem. After Guus, Danny Vera is in second place with ‘Roller Coaster’.
Pride
Third place is given to a new face in the list. Jan Biggel with ‘Ons mother seaj nog’ enters that place out of nowhere. A unique achievement, of which he is very proud, he said in Afslag Zuid on Thursday.
The Top 900 is again delicious Brabants this year. There are six Brabant toppers in the top ten alone. An increase compared to last year, when there were five in it.
