Guns N’ Roses live in Munich 2022: Tickets, directions, weather

Guns N’ Roses are coming to Germany for two dates in July. On July 8, 2022 they celebrate in Munich in the Olympic Stadium, followed on July 15th a gig in the HDI Arena in Hanover. Here you can find all information for the concert of the rock icons in the Bavarian capital.

Guns N’ Roses are currently on their world tour and are playing a total of three concerts in German-speaking countries – two in Germany and one in Vienna, Austria. The concerts were originally supposed to take place in 2021, but the corona pandemic forced the band to postpone the dates until this year.

Admission to the Munich Olympic Stadium begins on July 8, 2022 at 5:30 p.m. Due to the large crowds, there may be longer queues, so the organizers recommend being there in good time. The concert itself is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m.

Guns N’ Roses have blues musician Gary Clark Jr. as support. He will warm up the audience in Munich.

Directions to the Munich Olympic Stadium:

For visitors who want to travel by public transport, the U-Bahn line 3 is the best choice. The line serves many central stops in Munich and also stops at the “Olympiazentrum” station, where concert visitors should get off. Alternatively, tram lines 20 and 21 also go near the stadium (Olympiapark West station).

There are several paid parking spaces available for drivers on the site.

The weather on Sunday:

On Friday (07/08/2022) you can expect mild temperatures. At 19 degrees and a light cloud cover you don’t have to pack a rain jacket – the probability of precipitation is 0 percent. During the night the temperatures drop to 12 degrees. At 4-9 km/h wind force you can expect a light breeze. In addition, it stays dry throughout the evening until late at night.
