Guns N’ Roses Cover AC/DC’s ‘Back In Black’ (Video)

Tuesday 7th June: Guns N’Roses play Seville. The band has already completed six songs, including “Chinese Democracy” and the Velvet Revolver cover “Slither”. Then the musicians went on to something that the audience – when they noticed it after a few seconds – audibly put them in ecstasy and encouraged them to sing along.

Guns N’ Roses covered the AC/DC classic “Back in Black” amidst the frenetic roar of the fans, mostly faithful to the original, laced with a bit of Slash’s wax.

The band AC/DC is celebrating their Australian colleagues for the second time in a very short space of time. On June 4th “Walk All Over You” could already be heard.

Guns N’ Roses and AC/DC

The bond between the two formations couldn’t be closer now, with Axl Rose replacing AC/DC’s Brian Johnson, who was struggling with severe hearing problems, so their “Rock Or Bust” tour could continue. Singing “Back In Black” was kind of a daily routine for Rose, so he probably didn’t have to do much preparation.

Guns N’ Roses are currently touring Europe – and treating themselves to a few surprises along the way (like throwing out “Reckless Life”, which was last played at a concert in 1993). On July 8th they will play in Munich, on July 15th they will end part of their concert tour with a gig in Hanover, before heading to South America, Mexico and Australia.
