Guillaume David celebrated at prestigious bakery competition in Japan
Guillaume David works in his father’s business, bakery De Cock, in the center of Ostend. At the beginning of March he went to Japan to participate in the international competition Le Mondial Du Pain.
“We spent a total of two weeks in Tokyo,” says Guillaume. “We visited Tokyo for one week, including the bakeries of course. And then of course there was that full week of focus on the game.”
Unforgettable
Guillaume fell just off the podium there: he had to settle for fourth place. But it was definitely an unforgettable experience: Guillaume was able to show his skills and creativity to the very best bakers from all over the world.
