It looks very bad for Guido Weijers. It seems that Yvonne Coldeweijer is about to deal a devastating blow to his image and career. “He’s a dirty dog.”
It feels like a weight of Damocles hangs over Guido Weijers’ head. Three weeks ago, Yvonne Coldeweijer posted a few spicy ones stories about him on her juice channel, after which she announced a thorough investigation. The comedian refuses to respond, but Yvonne doesn’t want to let that stop her.
Huge accusation
The Guido scandal has something to do with young holiday girls, but what exactly is still unclear to the general public. “It seems that you are going to come up with a huge accusation that is so big that you also want to submit it to him,” says colleague Mark Koster in the latest episode of The Juice Show.
Yvonne agrees. “Yeah, I haven’t mellowed, but I’m really trying to do well because I’ve just discovered the effect of things I do. And with the information I have about Guido: that’s going to destroy him completely. There is no other way. So I just don’t feel like it right now.”
“Yeah, I just don’t like it myself. But yes, he did it himself.”
Illegal acts
Mark now also knows what it is about. “Beats. It dates from a while ago.”
Yvonne: “Yes, that’s right. I also want to ask you… You are of course a serious journalist. At least compared to me, haha. But you’re in it. And as soon as I start accusing someone of potential criminal offenses, it is also dangerous for me.”
Mark: “Maybe, if it’s wrong and you accuse someone of… (…) But I think if you tell the truth, no matter how hard, mean, cynical, black or horrible it is… Yes, the truth is your best friend. ”
Very harmful
Yvonne is worried that Guido is keeping her silent. “How I’m going to publish that, that’s still a bit… In that I’m looking for: gosh, what is a study? Yeah, I just want him to respond. Van: Guido, this is going to be really harmful to you.”
Mark: “Yes, but I think so, and then I address you as editor-in-chief: how hard are you with those facts?”
Yvonne: “Is a witness statement that you have once, but of comparable stories times twenty, sufficient evidence? (…) I think so.”
mode of operation
Mark thinks so too. “What’s interesting about that and then you can look at the Egbers case, but also Van Nieuwkerk… Van Nieuwkerk was one source on the record, that was the make-up artist. There were many off the recordso if you can establish a pattern of 20 and you suggest that you have that.”
Yvonne: “Yes, I have certainly been able to discover a pattern, a kind of modus operandi, in the working method here.”
Mark: “But do you have a number there: is that 1, is that 5, is that 10?”
Yvonne: “Well then I would say about twenty.”
Filthy dog
Yvonne thinks the truth about Guido should come out. “It is not my goal to accuse anyone of criminal offences. I just want to tell a story about a pervert. Do you understand what I mean?”
She concludes: “The truth is the truth and it is a dirty dog. A dirty dog. I have concluded that I believe that to be true. Yes, I’m Yvonne and I sometimes bring things that a Volkskrant wouldn’t bring. Yes, I don’t know. I need to think about this for a while.”
