On Earth Day 2022, GUESS ECO is launching the Global Forest Project “Be(leaf) in Change”, a tree planting initiative in cooperation with Treedom. Founded in Italy with the motto “Let’s Green the Planet”, Treedom works closely with farmers in Italy, Africa and South America, helping to achieve long-term social and financial benefits and supporting local communities where they are grown . With nearly 3 million trees planted since its inception in 2010, the environmental organization also works with various corporate partners on recycling and carbon neutral loyalty programs, offering them new, dynamic and tangible ways to support their environmental commitments right from the customer processes.
As part of this program and in support of their ongoing commitment to sustainability and protecting the planet, GUESS has committed to planting 5,000 trees initially and plans to increase that number through a long-term campaign targeting both customers and employees. At the brand’s upcoming in-store and online promotion, customers who purchase two products from the GUESS ECO collection will receive a special code to claim their own tree on Treedom’s website.
The GUESS Be(leaf) in Change promotion will be launched between April 11th and 30th in 348 stores in Europe as well as on the GUESS online shop.
