Guerino Capretti is the name of the new head coach at SG Dynamo Dresden. The 40-year-old was officially introduced as the successor to Alexander Schmidt at a club press conference on Wednesday (March 2nd, 2022). who was relieved of his duties on Tuesday. Capretti will make his debut against leaders SV Werder Bremen on Sunday.

Who is Guerino Capretti? The 40-year-old has been a coach at third division club SC Verl since 2017 and also managed to get promoted there in 2020, back then against 1. FC Lok Leipzig. Capretti was previously a player for Verl between 2010 and 2015. However, Capretti had already announced during the season that he would not extend his contract in the summer and then had to vacate his chair two weeks ago.
