Gucci appoints Roger Vivier chief executive officer

Gucci appoints Maria Cristina Lomanto to the role of executive vice president, general brand manager.

In this role, Lomanto will focus on the coordination of collection, retail and visual merchandising as well as beauty and eyewear licensing as well as retail training, the Italian fashion house confirmed to FashionUnited.

Lomanto joins Kering subsidiary Gucci from Roger Vivier. She was Managing Director of the shoe and accessories brand, which is part of the Tod’s Group. Before that, she held various positions at the Prada Group, most recently as General Manager at Miu Miu. She was also active in wholesale for Jil Sander and Yves Saint Laurent.
