The cliffhanger last season revolved around Nina and Bing’s love affair. Only master of ceremonies Rik was missing, because Shanti’s delivery had started. But it certainly doesn’t go as planned. The unlocking does not work and Shanti even drops out several times. Finally she is taken to an operating room and one of the doctors yells that they are going to lose her.
This seems to go completely wrong, as can be concluded from the trailer. The question remains, however, whether the character Shanti dies or the child. In any case, it is clear that things are going very badly for Rik. We see him crying by a car and clutching at his heart as he walks down the street.
Not only Rik gets into trouble. We see daughter Demi asking father Julian if there is a chance that he will end up in jail. Then we see being hammered in court and tears at the Verduyn family. Julian had gotten into trouble after illegally doing rides for the criminal Philippa. In the last episode she threatens him with a gun, but is injured herself. Finally, Julian calls the police and tells the whole story.
The new season of Good times Bad Times starts on August 29 on RTL 4.
