Good Times Bad Times has absolutely no need for a comeback from Ferry Doedens at the moment. “We have no plans for the time being to write Lucas back in the series.”
Ferry Doedens has now made it a sport to say in every interview that he would like to return to Good Times Bad Times. The series’ producer, EndemolShine, has fired him several times for being an unreliable employee who is constantly late, doesn’t keep appointments and slurps powdered sugar.
Ferry stagnates
Nowadays Ferry earns his money by distributing explicit videos on the internet. Hanging above his sink, he has now saved up a studio in Amsterdam, according to the actor. Still, the income stream from his horny followers is a bit ‘stagnant’, according to the actor.
Since Ferry is not getting any younger either, he would like to build a regular career again. He would prefer to just return to GTST. “I think it’s really nice. I must say that I have done thirteen years with a lot of passion and love,” he says in the talk show Open Card by presenter Robbert Rodenburg.
GTST doesn’t want him
Ferry and Robbert, who chat for an hour about all their one night stands and just not yet discussing their favorite positions, talk about it extensively. “I really loved my character Lukas Sanders,” said the actor. “I was not called. If they ever call me, I’m definitely open for a cup of coffee.”
Unfortunately for Ferry: GTST doesn’t want him. The makers let RTL Boulevard know: “We are aware of Ferry’s wish, but have no plans for the time being to write Lucas back in the series. Although we never rule it out completely.”
