Group of European countries join forces for better compliance with asylum agreements ‘Dublin’ | News item

On 8 March 2023, the Netherlands organized a ministerial meeting with Belgium, Germany, France, Denmark, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden (in its position as president), and the European Commission in Brussels.

During this meeting, the countries and the Commission discussed better compliance with and improvement of the Dublin Regulation. The Member States underlined that the implementation of the Dublin Roadmap by all Member States is essential for this, as is an active role for the European Commission in its monitoring and enforcement. This call is set out in a joint statement.
