Groundwater level back to normal in many places in Flanders

The groundwater level has risen in several places in Flanders due to the heavy rain in recent weeks. In 42 percent of the measurement points there is now a normal level, in 21 percent of the cases there is even a high to very high groundwater level. “Although it is still winter, we are already preparing for possible dry summer months,” says Flemish Environment Minister Zuhal Demir (N-VA).
