Groningen writer and KFPS inspector Louise Hompe dies shortly after the presentation of her autobiography

Louise Hompe, author of books such as ‘Delayed Wedding Night’ and ‘K. and now on’, passed away. Gerrit Brand of publishing company Nobelman in Groningen reports this.

She appeared at the end of last month Who said my life is boring . Hompe (Enschede, 1954) was already seriously ill at the time, but she still lived to see the presentation. She passed away May 4.

In the autobiographical Who said my life is boring Hompe looks back on, among other things, her time as a student in Amsterdam, the women’s cabaret with which she toured the country and the residential group in Friesland of which she was a member for many years.

In addition to her writing and work as an inspector of the Royal Friesian Horse Stud Book, Hompe was involved in developing talents among young people. She was a manager in vocational education and an innovation coach in the manufacturing industry. Louise Hompe lived in Groningen.
