The Alfa Racing 2 student team of the Alfa College did not finish on the podium at the World Championship (World Championship) hydrogen race on Saturday, June 4, but they did win the prize for best promo.
In the Bonte Wever in Assen, the American team Oakwood Pink became world champion. The World Cup is part of the Horizon Hydrogen Grand Prix program on hydrogen, energy and sustainability.
After participating in the World Championships in Assen, the Engineering students of the Alfa College will go to Monaco to attend the Energy Boat Challenge. This event will be held from July 4-9 with the aim of stimulating the creativity of tomorrow’s engineers and industry to develop propulsion methods that use clean energy. The students of the Alfa College are present at the Energy Boat Challenge with their self-built hydrogen boat Admiral.
