Unlike WikipediaGrokipedia cannot be edited by users and has no obvious human authors: the contents are “verified” by Grok, xAI’s AI chatbot. Users can only suggest changes via a pop-up form. Grokipedia was born at the suggestion of David Sacks, a technology investor and key figure in the Trump administration for artificial intelligence and cryptocurrencies.
Wikipedia today has 7.1 million articles in English, while Grokipedia offers around 885,000 in its 0.1 version, hinting at future updates and expansions.
