Groen and N-VA want to thoroughly examine the functioning of the Federal Parliament in response to the ‘illegal’ pension bonuses for former Chamber Presidents Herman De Croo (Open Vld) and Siegfried Bracke (N-VA). MPs Kristof Calvo (Groen), Peter De Roover (N-VA) and senator Karl Vanlouwe (N-VA) call in a letter to the Executive Committee of the Chamber and Senate to start an independent external investigation. The illegal payments may get a criminal tail.
