The Grizzlys Wolfsburg have achieved their third win in a row in the German Ice Hockey League (DEL).
The semi-finalists from the previous season won 3-2 (1-1, 1-1, 1-0) against the Augsburg Panthers on Thursday and moved up to third place with 22 points after twelve games.
Dominik Bittner (6th), Spencer Machacek (30th) and Jean-Christophe Beaudin (47th) scored for coach Mike Stewart’s team, Christian Hanke (10th) and Adam Payerl (26th) scored the goals for Augsburg. After the third defeat in a row, the Fuggerstadt team slipped to the top of the relegation zone with twelve points.
