Germany’s best tennis professional Alexander Zverev made it into the semi-finals of the ATP tournament in Vienna without a fight. Zverev benefited from Tallon Griekspoor’s short-term cancellation on Friday, as the Dutchman suffered from back pain.
Zverev, himself not in top shape due to back pain and physical problems, will face either the Italian Lorenzo Musetti or the French Corentin Moutet in the semi-finals. By making it to the last four, the 28-year-old can no longer be pushed out of the top eight in the world rankings and has therefore secured a place at the ATP Finals in Turin.
