After a break of a few years, the four musicians from the US state of Michigan are back with a new album.
The Battle At Garden’s Gate (2021) was written by Greg Kurstin is producing. The American producer and songwriter has previously worked with a number of stars. These include Paul McCartney, the Foo Fighters, Take That, Sia, Celine Dion, Kendrick Lamar and Adele.
On “The Battle At Garden’s Gate” the musicians process the past three band years, which were very turbulent for them. Brothers Joshua, Jacob and Samuel Kiszka plus drummer Daniel Wagner received a Grammy award for their EP “From the Fires” in 2019 and were considered “rock’s new hope”.
Daniel Wagner recently said about this time: “We were thrown out into this huge world and at first it was a culture shock. But when we started traveling a lot, meeting new and different people and cultures, our definition of ‘normal’ changed.”
In 2022, Greta Van Fleet will also present their new songs live in Germany, presented by ROLLING STONE.
