Greg Unis has been appointed to the role of Brand President at Victoria’s Secret & Co.
Unis will be responsible for the areas of design, merchandising, creative, planning, strategic pattern development and the further development of the business for the Victoria’s Secret and Pink brands, the US underwear supplier announced on Thursday. He reports directly to Victoria’s Secret CEO Martin Waters.
With Unis, the company has promoted someone from its own ranks. The designated brand president has worked for Victoria’s Secret since 2016. He has long held the title of CEO of Victoria’s Secret Beauty and most recently served as the brand’s chief growth officer. In this role he was responsible for the growth of the company.
“Greg has been with Victoria’s Secret since 2016 and I am confident that his vision as a retailer, his proven track record of growth and success and his deep knowledge of our business make him the right person to lead us to continued success,” said Waters. “Greg will also work closely with Chief Customer Officer Chris Rupp to continue developing our brands, delighting our customers and growing our business.”
Next month, Victoria’s Secret will also welcome Anne Stephenson back on board. Stephenson previously worked for the brand from 2001 to 2017 and will now assume the role of Chief Merchandising Officer. Most recently, she worked as Chief Merchandising and Product Officer for apparel company Torrid.
