Gregorio Paltrinieri in 1h51’37 ″ 85 won the 10 km of the Fina World Series in Paris (Parc de la Villette), on the Hungarian Kristof Rasovszky at 1 ″ 13, third the Australian Nicholas Sloman at 4 ″ 10, fourth the other Hungarian at 5 ″ 10 Betlehem, fifth Andrea Manzi at 5 ″ 83, sixth the French Axel Reymond at 9 ″ 02, seventh the Ukrainian Misha Romanchuk at 10 “27 ahead of Matteo Furlan at 10” 86.
Among the women, the Brazilian Ana Marcela Cunha in 2h00’33 ″ 71 dominated the other Olympian, the Dutch Sharon Van Rouwendaal at 2 ″ 06, third Ginevra Taddeucci (world bronze in relay in Budapest with Greg, Acerenza and Gabbrielleschi ) at 2 ″ 28, the Brazilian Viviane Jungblut at 3 ″ 32, fifth the Australian Lee at 3 ″ 81, sixth Barbara Pozzobon at 6 ″ 75 and fifteenth Martina De Memme at 28 ″ 94.
Sunday the relays always valid for the World Series: two blue quartets, with Martina De Memme, Giulia Gabbrielleschi, Gregorio Paltrinieri and Dario Verani, the last two fresh world champions (Greg both in the swimming pool in the 1500s and in open water, Dario re of the 25 km); the other tricolor quartet will be composed of Ginevra Taddeucci, Barbara Pozzon, Andrea Manzi and Pasquale Sanzullo.
