Green Bruges with spearhead Reuse to the polls
Groen Brugge opts for a mix of established values and innovation. “Incumbent city council members as well as some newcomers are given a prominent place on the list. The team exudes diversity, in terms of age, origin and district,” explains chairman Lieven Van Eenoo. Green Bruges focuses on more greenery and nature, space for pedestrians and cyclists, an ambitious climate policy and affordable housing.
“Do better than in 2018”
It is the second time that 25-year-old Reuse leads the electoral list. He is currently party leader in the city council and is going to the polls full of ambition. “In 2018 we achieved our best result ever in Bruges. Our ambition is to do even better in 2024. We want to help manage Bruges and make a difference with our vision,” says Reuse. The party leader is flanked by established value Karin Robert, 23-year-old photography student Bert Kindermans, councilor Andries Neirynck, Green secretary Joppe Massant, actress and teacher Nela Deleu. Municipal councilor Katrien Cattoor pushes the list.
