The chance that Ajax keeper Remko Pasveer will be present at the World Cup in Qatar has increased. Tim Krul did not want to participate in the penalty experiment and has fallen out of favor with the Orange. That confirmed national coach Louis van Gaal on Wednesday at the closing press conference.
Like Justin Bijlow and Kjell Scherpen, Tim Krul was not called up for the Orange squad. On the other hand, they were allowed to come to Zeist to see who the best penalty killer is. The former keeper of Ajax and AZ did not want to cooperate. “I can imagine something with that,” Van Gaal begins. “I thought it was a shame, because I know that he takes the most penalties in terms of statistics. There is no future for him at the Orange, because he did not want to come.”

Confrontation with Lewandowski
Poland will be top striker Robert Lewandowski. The Barcelona attacker let dShooting his previous meeting with Orange. Van Gaal: “He is the best striker in the world at the moment. It is a real test for our defenders to stop him. We have scored a lot since my appointment, but also conceded a lot of goals. Then it is a good test to play against such a striker.”
“You will probably see the players who will play a lot at the World Cup,” says Van Gaal about the position against Poland. “Although there are still a number of players who have to earn their spot. It is not without obligation. Players who have always delivered to Orange should also do so at their club.”

The Orange squad has a fit selection for the Nations League match against Poland. “We are not a rehabilitation center”, was the clear answer from the national coach. The Dutch national team is at the top of the group and may already qualify tomorrow.
If the Netherlands beat Poland and Belgium does not take the full loot against Wales, the Netherlands is the group winner. That is also the case if the Orange gets a point and the Belgians lose. The Nations League Finals will be played in June next year. The World Cup starts on November 21 against Senegal.
