American Grant Holloway set his own world record in the 60m hurdles at the World Indoor Championships in Athletics.
Holloway sprinted in the semifinals in Belgrade in 7.29 seconds, the same as on February 24, 2021 in Madrid, equaling his best time.
The German champion Gregor Traber was seventh in the race in 7.67 seconds and thus missed the final in the evening.
The Olympic silver medalist Holloway already set the second world record during the World Championships after triple jumper Yulimar Rojas from Venezuela had improved her indoor record to 15.74 meters.
