THE EMOTIONS
—
The excitement for the adventure that is about to begin is palpable among the members. Many of them confessed to us that they had dedicated months of preparation to this event, training hard to face the Crete Senesi. During the classic trip on the eve of the Tolfe climb, the conversations of many participants focused on the choice of bike, with the doubt between racing and the increasingly high-performance gravel bikes. The 2024 Granfondo Strade Bianche Enel promises to once again be an exceptional event, full of challenges and beauties, despite the difficulties linked to the weather and the condition of the dirt roads. This race is not simply a competition; it is an adventure, an experience that promises to be unforgettable for all those who are here, ready to face it. All that remains is to find the right tire pressure for a terrain that will be muddy but also compact at times: we start at 8 on Sunday morning.
