A set of twelve silver candlesticks, an antique clock, a replica of a Fabergé egg and many other items were captured. The value of the stolen items would be about €180,000 in total.
Recordings not delayed
To reassure fans, Netflix says in a statement that the shooting has not been delayed by the theft. However, the makers do their utmost to get stolen set pieces back.
‘Not worth much’
For example, an appeal has been made to antique dealers to report if props are offered to them. Set decorator Alison Harvey says the pieces are probably not worth much for sale after all, because not all of them are in good condition.
