Despite his triple success, including winning the coveted Album of the Year award, Harry Styles’ Grammy night was a mixed bag. During his performance, where he presented the song “As it Was”, there was apparently a technical problem with the stage. As in the music video for the lead single of his album HARRY’S HOUSE, the performance was designed around a revolving stage that Styles shared with some dancers. However, the choreography of the performance seemed a bit clunky. One of the dancers revealed the reason for this in a TikTok video.

The rotating stage didn’t rotate in the same direction during the performance as it did during rehearsals. So Styles and his cast had to improvise and adapt their dance routine to the new direction.

It wasn’t the only mishap that spoiled Styles’ near-perfect evening. A wording during his acceptance speech also caused shaking of the head and incomprehension on social media.
