The hypothesis of the lawyer is that in both cases the president was unaware of the events that occurred under his management.
“I am quite pessimistic because I believe that this sentence is already written, I regret the uncomfortable situation in which the judges put themselves by having to sign a conviction in a case that lacks evidence. It’s all fabricated by the judiciary, Diego Luciani and company have been masking evidence. The witnesses, including those of the prosecution, gave testimony contrary to what the prosecutors maintain,” Peñafort shot. Her criticism is added to that of other representatives of the Law, such as the lawyer Valeria Carreraswho also questioned the procedure of justice throughout the development of the case.
Another of the issues to which Peñafort referred was the treatment that some media gave of the attempted assassination of Cristina Kirchner, committed by Fernando Sabag Montiel. The lawyer questioned that said media have disbelieved or distrusted that this attempt was real. “I cannot judge the editorial line of La Nación, people choose to believe things that are not. All of us who saw the images observed how the boy fired two shots at the head of Cristina Fernández de Kirchner. I cannot accuse anyone because I lack evidence, even the most interesting thing that comes up is the financing line of this group”, said the lawyer.
He also supported the initiative to expand the Supreme Court of Justice. Last week, the Senate of the Nation gave half sanction and turned to the Chamber of Deputies a bill promoted by the ruling party, which proposes to increase the number of members of the court from 5 to 15. “The expansion of the Supreme Court I see it as super necessary and it seems to me a great initiative, he celebrated that he has half a sanction. Although the lawyer expressed her support for the government and Kirchnerism, she recognized the problems of the current administration, especially in terms of the economy. “The Front of All has left to stabilize the numbers of an economy that has become very complex in the lives of Argentines, bring peace of mind in economic terms, encourage employment and production, and try to resist the throes of a global situation. which is related to energy resources.
