Wine tasting

Kunstcafé Kiki will hold a tasting in collaboration with a wine merchant on Friday evening 23 June at 7.30 pm. A ticket costs 37.50 euros and for that you get five glasses of wine and matching snacks. Then it’s time for a dance to disco music from a DJ.

Workshop making beauty products

At clothing boutique Studio C you can make your own beauty products using essential oils on Saturday 24 June from 11 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. During the workshop you can enjoy a high tea and browse the latest fashion trends in the store.

Veterans evening

Saturday evening, June 24, is Veterans Evening at the Markt in Zoetermeer. This is the program:

  • 6.30 pm: Start parade with military vehicles from the Buytenparklaan
  • 6.30 pm: Start program Veterans evening on the Markt
  • 6.45 pm: Performance The Band of Liberation & Pipes Armyband with soprano NataliiaCioban from Ukraine
  • 7:30 – 7:45 pm: Military vehicles arrive at the Markt followed by a speech by Mayor Michel Bezuijen
  • 7.45 pm: Static show and possibility to view the vehicles

Guided tour in the nature garden

Every month, the Natuurtuin in the Meerzicht district organizes a free walking tour. Also on Sunday 25 June at 2 p.m. Take a look at special flowers and plants that just bloom in your own city. Think of rare herbal plants, beautiful roses and much more. You also have a chance to see dragonflies.

The free tour lasts over an hour. The meeting point is at the picnic table in front of the Nature Garden. You get there via the Westerpark entrance via the Turfberg, and follow the signs for Natuurtuin/
West point.
