The general secretary of Vox, Ignacio Garrigahas assured this Friday that his party would be willing to support the investiture of the leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, but he has warned the popular that they do not give away their votes nor can the PP claim to obtain support “in exchange for offenses”.
In an interview on Telecinco, Garriga conveyed the “surprise” of his group when verifying how the PP did not want to provide a position on the Congressional Board for his political party. However, he has stressed that despite this gesture of “contempt and arrogance” and “the PP skipping parliamentary logic”, Vox will continue with an “outstretched hand”.
Garriga has specified that the support of the 33 Vox votes is linked to “very clear” demands which is to recover constitutional neutrality and democratic normality and avoid, at all costs, a government against Spain “supported by a fugitive from justice and the enemies of the Constitution.”
The general secretary of Vox has insisted that his party will “rise to the occasion” as it has shown with the agreements already reached with the PP in Valencia, Aragon, the Balearic Islands or Extremadura.

But, he has warned, that the PP must demonstrate to the Spanish people that it is willing to do everything possible so that this bloc is willing to defend the constitutional order “it does not have any leaks, nor any fractures”.
Regarding a meeting between Abascal and Feijóo in the next few hours, Garriga has said that in Vox they trust that the PP “pick up the phone” after the “perplexity” with which they were left this Thursday after the vote in Congress and he has stressed that they are “anxious” to see which PP they find “whether that of Mr. Feijóo of the Murcia strategy or that of the Balearic Islands, Valencia or Aragon that recognizes Vox as a reliable partner.”
