Government eliminates 1-day sick leave in companies with more than 50 employees

In companies with more than 50 employees, the federal government allows an employee to take a day off on account of illness three times a year without having to get a sick note. The competent ministers Frank Vandenbroucke (Vooruit) and Pierre-Yves Dermagne (PS) announced this on Friday after the cabinet meeting.
