Zelenski: 60 percent of our weapons from our own country
Nowadays, Ukraine produces almost 60 percent of the weapons it uses. That reported the Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski, who emphasized that on X that not all goals have been achieved. He in particular mentioned the production of different types of anti -aircraft systems.
During the war with Russia, Ukraine gets a lot of treors of western countries, ranging from combat aircraft to tanks and ammunition. Zelenski and other top officials have also emphasized that it is important to increase domestic weapon production. Ukraine is focusing on the production of drones, among other things.
There is also collaboration with other countries. “For the first time in history, Ukraine started the construction of a joint factory with Denmark, on Danish territory,” the president wrote. “Parts will be produced there for our rockets and drones, weapons that are already very effective.”
