An unexpected twist: despite everything, Gordon is still welcome at the Media Park. He has been invited by Jan Slagter to sing a song in a Christmas show. “But there is more to come.”
Gordon has had one of his most turbulent years ever – what a fuss there was surrounding his most recent engagement. They are all still working hard in the editorial office of the weekly magazine Privé. But that’s not all: his contract with Talpa recently expired and he left with no luck. “The flag can be taken out!” he shouted.
Gordon performs
Well, his days in the television world are numbered, people thought. But to the surprise of many, Jan Slagter, the big boss of Omroep MAX, announced on Friday evening in the talk show Beau that his people have invited Gordon to perform in some Christmas program on television.
Jan, who often provides mental assistance to fallen TV stars, is looking forward to it: “We approached Gordon ourselves if he wanted that and he was open to it. It will be a very nice show.”
‘There’s more to come’
Private boss Evert Santegoeds has heard that even more is coming, he says in the podcast Strictly Private. And with Beau van Erven Dorens! “Yes, they are on the road together and I don’t know for what purpose.”
Is Gordon going to vent for a moment? His nemesis does not rule it out: “Maybe Beau got Gordon to tell his whole story once or something, an interview. But something is coming. A collaboration between Beau and Gordon. And I hope to be able to tell you what that is one day.”
