Gordon mocked with song in TV hit Even Tot Hier: ‘Diabetes? Yes Yes…’

The screaming show pony Gordon was the common thread in the television hit Even Tot Hier last night. He was mocked with a satirical song about his absurd mood swings.

Gordon was completely done with it for a while and even shouted that everyone had to stop: social media. It is unclear what happened to that ambition, but we are now getting everything back. Gordon gets out of bed? On Instagram. Gordon eats a sandwich? On Instagram. Gordon on the carnivore diet? On Instagram. And so it goes on.

Everything on Instagram

Over the past few months, we’ve also been able to follow Gordon’s whirlwind romance with Gavin Rozario closely. From just after their first Grindr date to the engagement and not much later the break-up: it all happened at a killer pace. Put some cardboard around it and it’s like Good Times Bad Times XL.

The smoothest part came four days ago, when the Privé went big with a revealing interview with Gavin. He was portrayed on the internet as someone who was mainly after Gordon’s PIN code, but has made it very plausible in the weekly that he is not a gold digger. Since that interview, almost everyone is in favor of Gavin.

Diabetes

Especially Gavin’s statements about cocaine use and Gordon’s mood swings have hit like a bomb. Do you fall asleep next to Gordon at a movie? Then, he says, you’ll be completely screwed up. The same applies if you don’t want to taste his slightly too spicy dish during a dinner. “He yelled that I ruined his day.”

Gordon confirms his mood swings, but according to him this is not due to any cocaine use or his explosive character, but to his diabetes. The men of Even Tot Hier don’t believe that at all.

On the heel

Last night Even Tot Hier had a long item about the increasing drug violence in Rotterdam. Presenter Jeroen Woe: “Violence will continue as long as so many people continue to do drugs. If you use coke, you promote violence.”

Colleague Niels van der Laan: “So basically: you just can’t do it, can you? Regardless of what it does to you – freaking out, going completely off track, you get mood swings…”

Jeroen: “No, no, no, no. It’s not because of drugs. That’s because of something else. We know that thanks to Gordon. Yes, didn’t you read it?”

Niels: “So if you are completely off track, completely freaking out, then it is not because of alcohol or drugs?”

Jeroen: “No, dude, it has nothing to do with alcohol or drugs, but with diabetes!”

Drink & Drugs

Jeroen and Niels then come to the beat of Drank & Drugs with a satirical song about Gordon’s mood swings. “If I’m shaking I don’t have a problem, I do go extreme, but I’m not far gone, because I have diabetes, I have diabetes,” they sing.

A little later, the broadcast is about the alleged misconduct of Arnold Karskens. Niels: “Those present thought: what is Arnold doing, dude! Wow, that’s all tight from the diabetes! What is that man doing!”

Finally, the ‘crazy’ inclusiveness of the Barbie empire is also discussed. Not only a down Barbie has now been made, but also a diabetes Barbie, the gentlemen joke. What then appears on screen? A Barbie with a huge coke mustache.

One thing is certain: six years later, The Roast of Gordon is still thinly done.
