‘Gordon is lying, they were absolutely not rehearsals’

Wilfred Genee does not understand why Gordon keeps saying that the images of his false singing are just rehearsals. “To be clear: these were the real recordings.”

Gordon screams bloody murder because he is criticized for his false singing during the presentation of his new album. The man who has spent years criticizing singing talents in TV shows such as Idols and X Factor does not tolerate criticism of his own singing qualities. He also keeps shouting that the images of his false singing come from rehearsals.

Lying

That’s a lie, responds Wilfred Genee. “To be clear: these were the real recordings. He keeps saying that it was the rehearsals, but we checked with Shownieuws and they were really not allowed to be at the rehearsals. This is just the execution,” the presenter emphasizes Today Inside.

Johan Derksen thinks that Gordon is simply not a good singer anymore. “That Gordon wouldn’t get through the auditions for The Voice now. It wouldn’t get through a preliminary round at all. Now when he has to sing a song in front of a jury, they say: ‘You go play outside.’”

‘Do not do this!’

Table guest Job Knoester believes that Gordon should be protected from himself. “Don’t you think that when he does those rehearsals, that Gordon, there comes a time when he thinks: I shouldn’t do this?”

Bar guest Roxane Knetemann: “Yes, or whether there are people who say that.”

Johan: “Yes, the musicians and producers who are there have to say: don’t do that, boy, you’re making a fool.”

Job: “That’s really sad, isn’t it?”

Empty theater halls

René van der Gijp points out Gordon’s poor ticket sales. “You know what else is rotten? Immediately he finds himself in empty theater halls and thinks they are rehearsals. Hahaha. Then someone comes up to him afterwards and says: ‘It’s done!’ Hahahaha.”

Job then: “I think it’s a bit sad, because I seriously think that man is a patient. I really think he needs professional help seeing how he reacts to everything. Isn’t that sad?”

Not respectful

According to Wilfred, Gordon is very hypocritical. “The funny thing is: he tells us that it is not really respectful and low to the ground, but the funny thing is that he himself is giving interviews about Gerard and his mothballs and about Dries Roelvink. He does it himself!”

René: “He loves to insult someone. That’s nice, isn’t it?

Job: “I think it’s funny, but take it.”
