Gordon denies that he made agreements with Beau van Erven Dorens about an uncritical interview. “No, that’s really nonsense. I would never demand what we are talking about.”
It is a stain on the TV career of Beau van Erven Dorens: his extremely uncritical interview with Gordon, who was allowed to gush about his ex Gavin Rozario without any contradiction. The moral compass of the juice channels works better than Beau’s: he let Gordon get away with an accusation of schizophrenia and opening up a family trauma.
Agreements with Goor?
Gordon casually revealed that Gavin’s brother committed suicide: disgusting. And Beau? He delighted in sky-high viewing figures and eagerly leaked fragments to the media. The criticism of both Beau and Gordon was immense. How did he react to it? Beau called his critics ‘bloodhounds’ and criticized that Goor should not bare his soul.
Media expert Victor Vlam did not understand Beau’s attitude. “I think what is going on here is that agreements have been made between the producer of the Casa di Beau program (that is Beau himself, ed.) and Gordon’s management not to ask too many critical questions. These types of shows depend on big names wanting to come.”
‘That is not true!’
That’s not right, Gordon responds in conversation with the Weekend (just before he disappeared from the media). “No, that’s really nonsense. I would never demand: we are going to talk about this or not. But my ex is a closed chapter. I’m glad I got through that. That almost cost me my life.”
Gordon started his latest comeback with all kinds of tearful interviews on television: not only with Beau, but also in Verborgen Verleden. Was it a conscious choice to return to the media crying? “They were two programs that were broadcast close to each other, but Verborgen Verleden had already been recorded in May last year.”
Emotion high
That was a month after the break with Gavin, Gordon emphasizes. “That’s why my emotions were so high, of course I didn’t have a nice year. I’m a very emotional person anyway. My zodiac sign is Cancer, they are very sensitive.”
It is also the fault of Verborgen Verleden that Goor recently made a musical comeback. “My participation in it convinced me. I discovered that I had a very musical family, famous in Europe. That touched me intensely.”
