Gordon Brothers appoints Norma Kuntz as Chief Operating Officer

The US consulting and investment firm Gordon Brothers has appointed Norma Kuntz as President and Chief Operating Officer (COO). As the company announced on Thursday, the experienced financial expert moved from the investment company The Carlyle Group, where she most recently worked as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and COO. At Gordon Brothers, she will join the board of directors and in her new role will “continue the sustained, rapid growth and set the corporate strategy”.

Gordon Brothers specializes in restructuring financially troubled companies and is also active in the fashion and retail sectors. In spring 2020, for example, the company acquired the intellectual property rights of the insolvent British traditional brand Laura Ashley and has since been working on leading the label into a successful future with international partners such as the retail chain Next and the fashion and media group IMG. Previously, Gordon Brothers had also temporarily owned the clothing brand Bench.
