Google has agreed to a settlement in a major privacy case in which consumers demanded a total of at least 5 billion dollars (approximately 4.5 billion euros) in damages. Central to that case was the incognito mode of Google’s Chrome web browser. Users suspect Google continued to track them online after enabling that mode, while suggesting otherwise.
