Golf pro Paul inspires in Stockholm

The Viernheim golf pro Yannik Paul impressed with third place at the DP World Tour tournament in Stockholm.

Germany’s currently best golfer (world ranking 108) had 273 strokes after four rounds on the par 72 course, six strokes more than the English winner Dale Whitnell on the scorecard.

As a result, 29-year-old Paul, who had been in the lead after the first round of the two million dollar tournament open to men and women in Sweden, fell behind the American Sean Crocker (270 strokes) in the final standings.

The winner of the women’s category was Anne van Dam from the Netherlands, tied with Paul.
