Singer Gökhan Özen married Selen Sevigen, the daughter of Gülay-Mehmet Sevigen couple, in 2010 and divorced in 2016. The couple, who has two daughters, divorced about 5 years ago and faced each other for their children years later.

Selen Sevigen both requested a suspension from Gökhan Özen and filed a lawsuit for the reorganization of the personal relationship between their father and their children.
The famous singer responded to these statements of Selen Sevigen, who claimed that Gökhan Özen constantly came to her house and insulted her in front of her children.
Özen said, “A criminal complaint has been filed against me. My daughter wanted a dog, I found it, I bought it, and both of my daughters were very happy. My ex-wife came home and had the dog taken out of the house so that she is sitting in the house with a garden. My daughters started to cry, she yelled at my daughters for this reason. Also, I warned her. Both her mother and grandfather are yelling at my little girl, I can’t stand it, I can’t let it go” and added:

“While all kinds of school, caregiver and care expenses of my children are covered by me as much as requested, if the issue is alimony, has he ever requested alimony 3 years after he said to me “I don’t need your alimony in poverty”? After all this, Mehmet Sevigen and his wife, Gülay Sevigen, had repeatedly ordered an injunction from the Family Court, alleging that they were insulted and threatened by Gökhan Özen.
According to the news of Özge Eğrikar from Hürriyet; The lawyer of the Sevigen couple and the lawyer of Gökhan Özen attended the decision hearing of the compensation case at the Istanbul Civil Court of First Instance.
The lawyer of the Sevigen couple, who spoke at the hearing, said, “Due to Gökhan Özen’s unfounded posts, the personal rights of the clients have been attacked. “We want our case to be accepted,” he said.
DECISION IS OUT
Gökhan Özen’s lawyer also demanded the dismissal of the case. Announcing its decision, the court accepted the lawsuit filed by the Sevigen couple and sentenced Gökhan Özen to 1 lira non-pecuniary damage. According to the court decision, Özen will pay this compensation to the Sevigen couple with interest.
