Ferry Doedens’ chin is quite large and sticks out a bit. That is why Story boss Guido den Aantrekker thinks it contains an implant. “Has he always had such a big chin or not? You hear it more often that people have chin implants. That suddenly struck me. I think it’s quite substantial,” said the editor-in-chief.

“Hey, what’s this?”

Ferry does not understand at all that this is said about him, he responds in the talk show HLF8. “Sometimes I am at home and then I hear my own name in the background and then I think: hey, what has been said or written about me again?”

Presenter Hélène Hendriks then asks him to cite a concrete example. “Give me a concrete example of which you think: that stayed with me so much and that made no sense at all.”

Ferry’s chin implants

Then Ferry quotes the gossip about his chin. “I recently read somewhere that I would have put chin implants. I read that somewhere. I sent it to some friends of mine and I got it from a friend as well. I really thought: that’s really going too far. If there is no news, they will make news of something.”

Hélène: “You do have a nice chin, to be honest.”

Ferry: “Thank you, let’s not talk too much about my chin.”

Puffiness and Botox

Ferry did have treatment for his enormous bags under the eyes and the wrinkles in his forehead. “I had a lot of trouble with my bags. I had that a long time ago and I had fillers put in it.”

And his forehead? “I had a few injections done.”
