Going outside with or without a jacket: this is the weather forecast for the autumn holidays in Zoetermeer

The autumn holidays have started in Zoetermeer! Can you still go outside without a coat this week or is autumn really arriving? “It is cool October weather with temperatures that do not exceed 11 to 13 degrees,” says Floris Lafeber, meteorologist at WeerOnline.nl.

According to Floris, afternoon temperatures of around 15 degrees are common for this time of year. Floris: “Despite the low maximum temperatures, it is wonderful weather to go out in the sun with a warm jacket.”

Later in the week

It is still uncertain how warm it will be later in the week. According to Floris, the wind is generally calm and the sun appears regularly. Perfect weather for a nice walk through the Balijbos.

Chance of night frost

Are you planning to go out early in the morning during your holiday? Then take cold mornings into account. Floris: “It can cool down considerably at night, especially when it clears widely and there is hardly any wind. For example, the mercury can drop to a few degrees inland above the ground. There is a risk of frost on the ground.”
