Göde Group also acquires bell brand Wellsana

The insolvent mail order company Klingel Group has sold another brand.

On Thursday, the parent company K – Mail Order GmbH & Co. KG announced that the Göde Group had acquired the Wellsana health brand, including the domain and the warehouse. The transaction was therefore “unanimously approved by the creditors’ committee” and was completed on February 1st.

This is the second time that the conglomerate Göde Group, based in Waldaschaff, Franconia, has used Klingel: a few weeks ago it had already taken over the jewelry label Diemer.

Owner Michael Göde explained the reasons for the latest acquisition: “We are already well represented in the market with our health brands AuraNatura and Fermentura. However, with the acquisition of the Wellsana healthcare brand, we would like to position ourselves even more broadly and further align our company for strong growth in the healthcare segment,” he explained in a statement.

The Klingel mother K – Mail Order GmbH & Co. KG, which filed for bankruptcy in May last year, has, in addition to Diemer, also been able to sell its clothing brands Alba Moda, Klingel, Babista, Mona, Miamoda and Happysize as well as the shoe label Vamos sell. Managing director Cord Henrik Schmidt is still hoping for further sales success: “We are currently in discussions with interested parties for the other brands,” he explained. “We are confident that we will still be able to complete transactions in the short term.”
