American pastor Eligio ‘Eli’ Regalado and his wife Kaitlyn are alleged to have defrauded members of the Christian community in Denver with a so-called ‘crypto scam’, a cryptocurrency fraud. The man himself admitted in a video message that the couple had pocketed “a few hundred thousand dollars” from investors to finance, among other things, the expensive renovation of their house. And that at the Lord’s request, Regalado claimed. “Or maybe I didn’t understand Him properly.”
