Goalkeeper Mert played his first match in Altınordu – Last minute TFF 2nd League news



Mert Furkan Bayram, the 18-year-old goalkeeper of Altınordu, which is struggling to escape the relegation zone in the TFF 2nd League White Group, experienced the excitement of playing his first professional match in the Yeni Mersin İdmanyurdu away game last week.


Atilla Küçüktaka, who was appointed as the coach this season after working as the goalkeeper head coach of the Izmir team for many years, made 19-year-old Serhat a substitute against the Mersin team and put Mert on the field in the first 11.


Mert, who played for the crescent-star jersey 19 times in the lower age groups and is currently guarding the goal of the U19 National Team, completed his first match against Mersin, which ended 0-0, without conceding a goal.


The 1.88-tall young glove, who was promoted to the A team after playing in the U14, U15, U17 and U19 teams in Altınordu, where he started football, extended his contract with the Izmir representative, with whom he signed a 3-year professional contract in 2021, until 2027 in February.
