Goalkeeper Jakob Busk stays with 1. FC Union. The 28-year-old Dane was said goodbye to the Berlin Bundesliga club after the past season. Now he signed a new contract with the Irons, the club announced on Thursday evening.
Busk has played for Union since 2016 and is the longest-serving professional after captain Christopher Trimmel.
In the goalkeeper hierarchy, Busk is only number three behind his compatriot Frederik Rönnow and Lennart Grill, who comes from Bayer Leverkusen.
Andreas Luthe, long-time goalkeeper at the Alte Försterei, has left the club for 1. FC Kaiserslautern.
