Injury shock for FC Bayern: As the record champions announced on Wednesday evening, Daniel Peretz suffered a bruised kidney during training. Further specialist medical examinations are to follow on Thursday. This means that FC Bayern “will initially have to do without the 24-year-old goalkeeper,” as it goes on to say.
The goalkeeper’s loss comes at a bad time for Munich. Because Manuel Neuer’s appearance on Saturday at the Bundesliga restart after the winter break at Borussia Mönchengladbach (from 6.30 p.m. in the live ticker on t-online) is still unclear after his rib fracture.
