The German European Championships was disappointing for the players and even days later the criticism does not tear off. A player has now been tackled hard.
The German semi-final at the European Championship against Spain was a few days ago, but it still echoes-but not in terms of sport, but because of undifferentiated comments on the net.
Before the decisive goal in the 113rd minute, a bad pass from Sydney Lohmann had led Spain in front of the goal of German number one, Ann-Katrin Bergercould come. Berger did not look good on the goal, and later took the guilt. In the ARD she said: “I’m incredibly sorry, not for me, but for the team. Because it really gave everything.”
However, Lohmann also got some criticism on the net for her mistake. Their performance was disparaged as “stupid” or “very terribly” on social media. Now her teammate Ann-Katrin Berger has faced her. At Instagram she shared an commenting article with the note: “This is unnecessary!”
National coach Christian Wück had also found a clear words. On TV, he said, to the critics in the country: “We win together and we lose. The Germans may also have to learn a bit that we do everything together. That we want the best for the German nation. And that we were very, very grateful for the support we got here – and it was sensational.”
